About Me

From social worker to digital nomad
My journey as a freelance social media manager, content creator, and travel influencer started in 2020, like many others, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
After working for over nine years as a social worker in an office, I felt the need for a change. My dream had always been to travel, not just for a vacation, but as a lifestyle. Inspired by female solo travelers online, I started manifesting a vision: exploring the world while working remotely.

Turning a passion into a career
During the pandemic, I launched an Instagram account featuring restaurants in Stavanger, Norway. As my content gained traction, a local restaurant reached out, asking for help with their social media. That was the turning point. I realized I could turn my passion into a business.
I rented out my apartment, embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, and began my journey. Over the first 14 months, I traveled solo to 20 countries across three continents, sharing insights on:
✔ Top restaurants & food experiences
✔ Travel destinations & hidden gems
✔ Daily life as a digital nomad
- all while working with my clients in Norway at the same time!

My work today
I now work as a freelance social media manager, I sell my knowledge and art work in my new online store, I am an online social media coach, content creator, and travel-influencer, collaborating with brands and fellow creatives. Why I travel solo: The power of global connections
Traveling alone has completely changed how I see the world. I’ve realized that cultural diversity isn’t just about food, language, and traditions: it’s about the different ways of thinking, living, and experiencing life. It is about re-inventing yourself in a surrounding without expectations.

Some of my most memorable moments come from:
- Sharing meals with locals and hearing their stories.
- Spontaneous conversations with strangers that turn into friendships.
- Immersing myself in different cultures and seeing life from a new perspective.
Solo travel has taught me that true global connections aren’t about politics or business. They’re about people, experiences, and understanding.

Solo travel is empowering. It builds:
Confidence – You learn to trust yourself.
Independence – You navigate life on your own terms.
Perspective – You see the world through new eyes.
Character - You become more that you ever knew you could!
